iran food + bev tec 2009: All majors and six official pavilions have already reserved

All major exhibitors including six official pavilions from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Turkey have already reserved for the 16th edition of Iran’s leading International Food, Beverage and Packaging Technology Trade Fair.

To be held at the Tehran International Fairgrounds from 24 to 27 May 2009, iran food + bev tec 2009 will again be organised in conjunction with iran food + hospitality 2009 and iran agro 2009.

Supported by the Iranian ministries of industries and mines, and of jihad – agriculture, iran food + bev tec 2009 will once more confirm its status as the leading trade show for the country’s food and beverage processing and packaging industry. The event will take place in halls 38, 38a, 41 and 41a of the Tehran International Exhibition Centre (see groundplan).

Exhibitors very satisfied at iran food + bev tec 2008

Held from 25 to 28 May 2008 at the Tehran International Fairgrounds, the 15th International Food, Beverage and Packaging Technology Trade Fair - iran food and bev tec 2008 - ended on a very positive note.  

Exhibitors were satisfied with their outlook for business, and their discussions with 21,000 professional trade visitors, in addition to some 19,000 consumers visiting the event. Altogether estimated 40,000 visitors attended iran food + bev tec 08, iran food + hospitality 08 and iran agro 08. Visitors included managers and decision-makers from the entire country. -> Evaluation

297 exhibitors from 21 countries participated. All major international and Iranian players and not less than six official national pavilions had booked.
 
The official national groups at iran food+bev tec 2008:

• Austria participated with 6 exhibitors on 164 sqm through the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – Austrian Trade.
• adepta organized the official French group with 11 exhibitors occupying 151 sqm.
• The German Engineering Federation, VDMA, had confirmed the participation of 32 exhibitors on 864 sqm.
• The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade ICE and their Trade & Promotion Section ICE Tehran had booked 823 sqm for 41 Italian exhibitors
• Spain officially participated through the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce with 4 exhibitors on 100 sqm.
• And Turkey participated through Forum Fairs with a group of 6 companies on 113 sqm.

The exhibitors came from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

611 exhibitors from 26 countries at iran agrofood 2008

iran food+bev tec 2008 (297 exhibitors from 21 countries) took place concurrently with iran food+hospitality 2008 (214 exhibitors from 8 countries) and iran agro 2008 (100 exhibitors from 9 countries), the three dedicated events building the frame of “iran agrofood 2008” with altogether 611 exhibitors.

Net exhibition area stood at 17,100 sqm, gross exhibition space at 38,000 sqm (both figures same as in 2007). A net exhibition area of 3,156 sqm was booked on the outdoor grounds.

The exhibitors originate from 26 countries, namely from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
