iran food+bev tec 2009: Exhibitors increase space at the lead fair for the Iranian food industry

Now eight official pavilions from Austria, France, China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey

To be held at the Tehran International Fairgrounds from 24 to 27 May 2009, iran food + bev tec 2009 will again be organised by the German trade fair specialists fairtrade, and their Iranian partners Palar Samaneh.

Supported by the Iranian ministries of industries and mines, and of jihad – agriculture, iran food + bev tec 2009 will once more confirm its status as the leading trade show for the country’s food and beverage processing and packaging industry. The event will take place in halls 38, 38a, 41 and 41a of the Tehran International Exhibition Centre (see groundplan).

Creating synergies for exhibitors
iran food+bev tec is once again held in conjunction with iran food + hospitality 2009 and iran agro 2009. The 16th International Food, Beverages & Hospitality Trade Fair and the 16th International Agricultural Trade Fair will bring in additional dedicated audiences from the food and hospitality sector.

Official country pavilions from Austria, France, China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey  
Official national pavilions are organised by Austria, France, China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey. Whereas Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Turkey are renewing their participation, it will be a premiere for China and Taiwan.

Many of the national groups have increased their space for the iran food+bev tec 2009:

• Austria participates on 160 sqm through the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber – Austrian Trade.
• China has booked 227.50 sqm through Massbetter International Exhibition Co.  
• adepta organises the official French group occupying 224 sqm compared to 151 sqm in 2008.
• The German Engineering Federation, VDMA, have confirmed the participation of a group of German companies on 774.50 sqm.
• The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade ICE and their Trade & Promotion Section ICE Tehran have booked 1.002,50 sqm for 2009 in comparison to 823 sqm for 2008
• Spain officially participates through the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce who have increased space from 100 sqm in 2008 to 208 sqm for 2009.
• Taiwan has reserved 104 sqm through Asia Media Co., Taipeh
• And Turkey participates through Forum Fairs on 216 sqm (113 sqm in 2008).

Review: Exhibitors very satisfied at iran food+bev tec 2008     

Major international players divided by sector of activity included:    

611 exhibitors from 26 countries at iran agrofood 2008

iran food+bev tec 2008 (297 exhibitors from 21 countries) took place concurrently with iran food+hospitality 2008 (214 exhibitors from 8 countries) and iran agro 2008 (100 exhibitors from 9 countries), the three dedicated events building the frame of "iran agrofood 2008” with altogether 611 exhibitors.

Net exhibition area stood at 20,256 sqm (17,100 sqm indoors and 3,156 sqm outdoors). Gross indoor exhibition space stood at 38,000 sqm

The exhibitors originate from 26 countries, namely from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
